My first tournament

This past weekend I participated in my first golf tournament. What an exciting weekend!! It was a two day couples tournament on Saturday and Sunday at Prescott. I think it was the most nervous I can remember being about anything in a long long time, but it was also the most fun I've had in a long time.

Larry and I finished Saturday 6 under par, which put us in the Championship Flight. We came back Sunday and finished 4 under par and took home first place. I was astounded! I mean jaw dropped to the ground-complete and total awe!!

I will tell you that my partner did most of the work. He can put that little ball just about anywhere on the course he wants to. But I am also proud of how far that I have come in the golf world. I contributed to our score this weekend with a chip-in for eagle on Saturday and a chip-in for birdie on Sunday, and I made my share of putts too. Just wait until I get good......(ha ha)
