Sophie has been working hard on sharing the gospel.  She is planning on going on a mission trip to New Orleans for spring break and she is way excited about it.
She came home and showed me what she had been learning and the 3 circles.
It makes me proud.

She is rocking her senior year, her pledge mistress stuff, her classes, her papers, her friendships, her  life.

She may not have it all figured out yet, but it makes me proud.

These girls are growing in their faith.  I can see it.  That is when it is real when someone else can see it and I can truly see it in each one of them.
It makes me really proud.

Molly made it to the finals in the spelling bee.  There were two rounds at the primary school with other 3rd graders.  The finals were at the elementary school with 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th graders.
Molly made it through the first few rounds and she was kicked out with the word brayed.  (Like a donkey noise...she spelled it like a hair braid!.) She was so upset about it.
She made it a long way and it makes me so proud!

Sadie started teaching gymnastics on Tuesdays and Thursdays at home.  I win because I got to see her two times a week.  Score!!

We celebrated Molly's birthday.

The big 9 years old.  I have tried and tried to get her to stop.
She won't.
She loves having birthdays.

She also keeps promising me that she will always be my baby no matter how old she is.

Tiger Tunes 2017

This year Sadie performed with the EEEs.  They were genies.

Their show was awesome.

They all looked so pretty.

We attended on the Friday night performance.  Sadie was bummed because they didn't get any awards that night.  Really bummed.

They ended up finishing 3rd overall.  (That still isn't good enough for Sadie.)

I totally looked forward to Tiger Tunes this year since I actually knew what it was.  It did not disappoint.

We got to visit about 3 minutes before the show.

Then about 3 after the show.

The BETAs were pretty cute again this year. (Always love them...Sadie gets mad about that.)
The pictures are always cute too.

Sadie has made soooo many friends.  I am so glad she chose OBU.

I can't wait until next year.

Tiger Tunes is pretty awesome.  I didn't really know what to expect.  I didn't really know what it was.  I knew that Sadie had gone to Tiger Tunes in the past and she enjoyed it.  I knew that she had signed up to participate in Tiger Tunes.  I knew that they had 2-3 hour practices almost every night.  I knew that it was stressing her out because between that and a 2 hour cheer practice every night it was hard to find time to study and do almost anything else.

I didn't know much else about it.  I was looking forward to it, but I think it was just because Sadie was in it and I always love to go to the girls' stuff.

There were four nights of performances, Wednesday through Saturday, and Saturday there were two performances.

What I learned is that all the different clubs perform a song/skit/show.  They are all put together to form what I would call a musical.  Each club performance has a theme and the performers change the words to sometimes familiar songs to fit their theme.

Sadie was in the group call student life.  She isn't in a social club so she signed up where she could.  Their theme was "Supercenter."  Life as a college student has lots to do with Walmart Supercenter.  All college kids go to Walmart.

As always, Sadie was a performer!  When she does it, she is going to make sure she puts all of herself in it.  This was no different.  I get cracked up at her facial expressions in these pictures.

Believe it or not, she even got her basket tuck put in there.  They threw her and she flipped on the stage.

What I didn't know is that all of the money made on ticket sales was to be given next year as scholarships.  That is over $100,000.00 given in scholarships.  Awesome.

I also didn't know how much thought and creativity was put into these shows.  Some of the costumes were amazing.  The choreography was pretty cool.  The talent blew me away.

I know that I am now a great fan of Tiger Tunes.  I will be glad to support it forever and am already looking forward to next year.

I got tickled because Sadie would just call it Tunes.  "I have Tunes practice tonight."  "After Tunes practice I did this."  "Tunes this..."  "Tunes that..."  So when I would talk about Tunes, I would get confused and call it iTunes.

Then when we were eating before the show, Sophie asked Cameron if they had Bear Tunes at Conway.  (pretty cute, right?)

I was thoroughly impressed and enjoyed the whole show.  Sadie said it was exhausting doing the practices every single night, but it was totally worth it.  I'm so glad she got to be a part of that....and invited us to come.

This weekend was Homecoming at OBU.  The place was packed!  OBU played SAU and it was a very good game.  After FOUR overtimes, OBU won.

I haven't taken my camera to a game.  These pictures that the professor takes are so much better and alot easier for me.  So I give all the credit to Dr. Kluck.

After all, I couldn't have captured how many people were there like this, even if I had my camera.

I couldn't have gotten this group picture together that is p-r-e-c-i-o-u-s.

Mine turn out a little something like this:

Which aren't bad, but not magnificent.

I do love my cheerleader and we will love and support her wherever she goes.

Even if it is the 4th overtime and Molly just wants to leave.

Even when it is finally over and Sophie is praising Jesus that they are through!

It's all worth it and we are all smiles, just to get a hug and 'see ya later' from Sadie.

It's also pretty sweet to see Cameron driving down from UCA to support Sadie and the Tigers, wearing his purple.

Go Tigers Go!!

This OBU game was pretty special. Same awesome band.  Same cute cheerleaders.

Same cool stunts.

But my BFF Kristi came to watch.

Coincidentally, it was the first game that Cameron got to come to too.

I so love her and her family.  They are super special to me.

The girls all love each other too!  Makes my heart smile.

We traveled to the Searcy game.  The cheerleaders usually don't cheer at the away games, but this one they made.

We actually ended up getting right behind the cheerleaders on the drive up there.

So Sadie told us to follow them to go eat.

We did.  It was nasty, but we did.

We enjoyed the visit and acted goofy and had fun.

I guess OBU and Searcy are big rivals.  I don't know much about the history.  But it was a close game the whole time.

Sadie her thing.

Sophie and Molly ate popcorn and cheered Sadie on.

The weather was perfect.

Then after the game, we gathered for some pictures with the Nashville crew.

Braiden plays for Searcy.  They won.

This Braiden goes to OBU too.

It was a good game and a good time.  I'm glad we went.
