Cold and Wet

This was the freezing rain that was on my trees Monday. I am glad that it didn't get very bad because the trees around my house looked like they were sprinkled with powedered sugar from afar. I started having flashbacks of the ice storm and had a strong desire to buy a generator.

It looked pretty....as long as you were inside where temperatures were above 70 and not out in the cold wet rainy stuff.




It wasn't cold enough to snow or sleet, so it rained and then froze to the surfaces of the trees. I had fun trying to capture the tiny icicles and rain falling. I was in the vehicle, of course, with the heater on.




I love all of the seasons. I especially love to see it snow at least once a year, but this year I am really looking forward to spring and summer and the warmer weather. So if it's going to snow, I ask mother nature to hurry up already!!
