Larry and I won 2nd place in the Championship Flight at Prescott in the couples scramble. We had to fight it off in a playoff because three teams were tied for 2nd, but we did it. Larry also got closest to the hole on Hole 17.

This past weekend, Jane and Patty and I got 2nd place in our flight. I feel like I'm not playing as well, but I still love the game. I really want to get better.

I still have a couple of couple tournaments before the season is over. Looking forward to them!

On another note, Sophie is going to start taking dance lessons. She is excited, but doesn't really know what to expect. We got all of her necessities to start including ballet shoes, tap shoes, a pink leotard with a tutu and pink tights. It is the most precious thing!! We will see how long this lasts. It may not make it through the first lesson. When Sadie found out I signed Sophie up for dance she said, "Please don't turn her into a girly girl."

Please help me live through the next few years with a twelve year old girl. Please give me the patience and the strength to keep from knocking her across the living room floor. I remember those years. I ask for forgiveness and I want to say I'm sorry right now to my mother.
