We did it again....Larry and I got 2nd place in the Idabel Couples Scramble this weekend. It's a funny story really. On Saturday we shot 5 under and left there 6 shots behind in the championship flight. On Sunday we needed to score really low to even be in the running. Not impossible for us, but we weren't counting any money yet.

Before we teed off on Sunday, Larry looked at me and said, "Activate twin powers!" We bashed knuckles and laughed. We knew we had to play hard, but we started out very weak. We were even after 6 holes with one birdie and one bogey. At that time, Larry looked at me and said, "Something's got to change we need to change those powers." So we banged knuckles again and Larry said, "Deactivate twin powers!!" That was before hole number 10. From that hole we birdied 5 holes in a row and finished with 6 under for the day. That score put us in 2nd place, the leaders beat us by one shot.

We would have never dreamed we would have gotten 2nd place from where we were Saturday and how we started out Sunday. We had a good time though. We got wet on Sunday, of course...we were in Idabel...we always get wet there.

This week, I'm away from home at a class. Interesting class. Beneficial class. But I miss all my babies already. Larry is taking care of the girls. He already does alot, but he is also doing mommy duties this week.

Sophie is excited because he's promised her they could go check the deer cameras. Sophie absolutely loves the deer hunting preparations. She loves to go with Larry to plant food plots, check the cameras, etc. This is Sophie at deer camp. Ain't she something!!

This is comical to me. Sadie sends me this via text message tonight. The text below it said, "I hate math!" Funny girl.
