We played golf three days at three different courses. The first day was The Oaks, the second was Shell Landing, and the third day was at Windance. All of the courses were very nice. I like playing new places.
After having no rain at home for the last two months, we played golf in the rain every day in Biloxi. It didn't last the whole 18 holes every day, but we did get wet every day. I welcomed the rain the first day, but I have to admit that it got old.
The guys made fun of me because I wanted to take pictures all the time. When I would make them stand and pose for a picture they would say, "Can we play golf now that we are through taking prom pictures."
We went to a beachfront resturant one night. It was the only time we saw the beach. It was dark, but the ocean is still so beautiful. I was surprised that there wasn't many places along the beach to eat. The locals said that nobody has built back after Katrina. They aren't sure if they will. That is sad to me. I understand it, but it still makes me sad.

During the rounds, each couple combined their scores for a three day running total to determine the Biloxi winner. The Tates won this years title. Larry wasn't playing his best golf. Actually, Larry sucked the whole time. I have never seen him struggle so hard. He laughed at himself and went with it, which I loved. He still had a good time.
I must add that the first day at The Oaks, I shot the lowest score of the day with an 88. That is the first time I have ever beat Larry at golf and it was so much sweeter for someone else to see it too!!! I followed it up when I got home a few days later with a 79. My first time to break 80.
I missed my girls so much more than I even expected!! They stayed with their MeMe so I know they were well taken care of and didn't miss me as much as I missed them. I laughed because I cried when I dropped them off and MeMe cried when she brought them home.

You are cracking me up!! Poor Larry, I'm glad he was a good sport about his sucky playing. LOL!! I bet you did miss your girls! That's a long way to be away from them. And congrats on the awesome scores of yours!! :)
