Scrapper Golf 2013 is off with a bang. We are about 2 weeks in and Sadie is swinging. She had a golf match at home yesterday and I took off work to watch her.

The weather started off wonderful. Not too hot, not too humid. Then we got a little rain shower. The sun came out and it was blazing hot!!! 

This also describes Sadie's round. She started off all cheery and excited. We had just registered her for her first year in high school and she was feeling on top of the world. Calm, cool!!

Then she hit a few bad shots and it turned sour like our little rain shower. She couldn't get a feel for anything. She was getting frustrated. 

Larry checked in with me to see how she was doing. I told him it wasn't going so good. He told me to tell her to slow her swing and swing out. 

After that, we got sunshine again!! But it didn't last long after she lost a ball in the rough and had to take a penalty stroke for a lost ball. She was blazing hot!!!

She finished 9 holes with a score of 55. She can surely shoot better than that. She was very disappointed, but I love that she's a fighter. There is still lots of golf to be played.
