Golf is a family sport at our house. We may not play all together yet, but we collectively spend lots of time on the golf course. I have made friendships that I probably wouldn't have had the opportunity to make if they had not started on the golf course.
Molly has many hours logged already as a professional golf cart driver. Sophie has her beat by only a few hours. Larry plays golf at least 2 days a week, most weeks more. He is very athletic and really talented. He has taught me everything I know. It's nice having someone that knows what they are talking about teaching you the ropes.
These are some of the ladies that I play golf with. There are a few not pictured...Louise, Sharla, DoDo, Shelia. This was this year's club championship. Teresa always wins. I hope to beat her some day.
Sophie participated in the golf clinic this year. This is really her first year to get to do anything besides just go out with me or Dad. She also got some golf lessons this summer from one of the girls on the high school golf team. I wouldn't say that she loves to go play golf. But if someone is going, she wants to go too.
Case and point. Before school started, I let Sophie stay home with Sadie one day a week. They would go play golf in the mornings and swim in the afternoons. I don't know how good they did, but they had a good time together.
And then there's Molly. She has been on the course since before she was born. She is out there at least 6 out of 7 days. She will either love the game or hate it.
