This post to completely dedicated to Sophie Glyn, my medium child, as she calls it. I'm sure it's hard being a middle child, but it's got to have its advantages too. She truly is loved and I try to make up for the middle child syndrome. As a result, she is spoiled rotten. She is definitely a Momma's girl.
Sophie is so sweet and has a heart of gold. She also wears her feelings on her sleeve. She loves to laugh. She loves to give gifts, often times trying to wrap things in her room to pass on as a gift of love. Her feet are so stinky in the summer time. She is really sentimental. She loves band-aids. She is totally boycrazy already. She is shy and doesn't make eye contact with strangers. She does cartwheels everywhere...even down the aisles at Walmart.
Sophie is more of a follower than a leader. That worries me a little because she likes to skate right outside of the lines. If you tell her 30 feet, she's gonna go 40 at least. I call it determination right now instead of rebellion. She loves to be a part of a crowd, but doesn't want to stand out in the crowd. She can be a little sneaky. She loves to hug. She loves to play. She loves to be a helper. She doesn't like hamburgers. She is scared of the dark and storms. She has night terrors occasionally and often talks in her sleep. She is beautiful.
Once she meets someone, they are her friend forever. She loves with her whole heart! She thinks about other people's feelings. She prays. She looks up to her big sister and she helps her little sister. She loves Larry, but misses her Daddy. She loves school. She loves gymnastics. She used to like mayonnaise, but now she doesn't. Her eyes are the deepest brown. She wants braces. She loves to swim. She goes to the school nurse at least once a week no matter how many times I tell her to quit doing that.
She wants to be a teacher when she grows up. She loves to snuggle. She always tells me that she 'loves me to the moon and back and it never stops.' If I ask her how much she loves me, she always says 'big much.' Her ipod and her bicycle are probably her most prized possessions. She loves to take her lunch to school. She eats too much candy. She loves Jesus. Her MeMe and Papa are very important to her. She loves homework. She hates being alone. She loves perfume and deodorant, but would go weeks without taking a bath and washing her hair if I let her. She is so funny and it kills me what she comes up with sometimes. She loves jokes, but does not like the joke to be about her.
I see Sophie as a precious gift. I will always cherish her. I hope that she always knows that she has my heart and I love her immensely. I can not imagine life without my Sophie.
