Friday night was Homecoming. Sadie was apprehensive about the pep rally and the game because there were 6 cheerleaders that were going to be out and it changed everything they did.

I did make it to the pep rally. A little late, but I got to see my girl none-the-less. She did great, as I knew she would. I didn't have a seat and I didn't take my camera, so this picture is stolen.

We did make it to the game. I was so glad it worked out. I did take my camera and took lots of pictures. I felt like I was making up for lost time.

The Homecoming Court was so pretty. Every girl was beautiful. I took pictures of all if them. I don't know why, it just felt right. Sophie really enjoyed the ceremony. She knows most of these girls and she loved looking at the pretty dresses.

Everything about this game was different for Sadie. She had different duties that the older girls usually do. She was so nervous.

She had to run with one of the flags from the run through. She has never done this before. She told me later that she was scared to death. She is so short, so the flag feels so tall to her. She was afraid she was going to jam it it the ground, fall down, and get trampled by the football boys. She did fine. But look at her face!!! You can see the fear.

The first touchdown of the night... I am usually watching Sadie perform NFL. This time my eyes were on the victory flags. Little tootle bug was in there doing the victory lap!!

She thought she was something for a while. But then, just has she has been with everything lately, she got bored with it and was ready to go.

Larry took her home.

I couldn't leave without seeing Sadie go up for the first time. With everyone out for Homecoming, Sadie was put up in a lib. I was too busy watching to get great pictures, but she did awesome!!!

I'm just in awe of how far she has come in such a short time.

I love watching her!! I love watching her grow!! What an awesome night!
