This was the performance we had been waiting for.  The one that has been talked about and talked about for weeks.  The one that Sadie even knew the words to the songs.  SPACED OUT.

I love how they do a musical performance every year.  I think Mrs. Petty is wonderful with these kids and she does an awesome job!  I also like how there are only 4 classes in the performance, so every child gets a part.

I love how Sophie gets excited about it and talks about it constantly and can't wait for performance day. 

She had two performances.  One was at 2:00PM that afternoon.  MeMe came to that performance and she said that she was so glad she did!  She enjoyed the show.

Sadie, Sophie, Dad, and I went to the evening performance at 6:00PM.  We missed the afternoon performance because of Molly's doctor appointment.  But MeMe fell right in there and took our place.  I think Sophie was more excited that she had a "new audience" each time. 

The program was very cute and very informative.  It was about space.  The planets, stars, sun, moon, comets, and such. 

 

Sophie's was a "Star."  She had a short individual speaking part and she did a fabulous job!! 

Molly really got into the program.  She was trying to sing along with them during the songs.  During the speaking parts, she would keep asking for them to sing again. 

 

We videoed the performance again this year so we can watch it over and over again.  Sophie truly is a star.  In more ways than she ever knows.
