She really wasn't excited about it. She didn't know what to expect, but to me a chance to get all gussied up is a good time.
She had a date. She invited Luke to go with her. She made plans to meet him there. I asked her if he was coming to pick her up and she said no. I asked her why and she said that she wanted to be able to come home when she was ready.
Larry told her that all she had to do was tell him she was calling her Dad if he wouldn't bring her home. She laughed, but still opted to meet him there. It kinda sounds like her Momma to me.
She left her starving and was worried about what they would be serving. She was pleasantly surprised when she got her plate. Chicken strips, baked potato, and roll. Right up this girl's alley.
She was home by 930. She said she had a good time.
