So, not much has been going on lately.  Molly called MeMe last weekend and just mentioned that she wanted to see her, so MeMe jumped in the car and came and got Molly and Sophie just to spend one night.  Rotten.  But I love it.

We have been slacking when it comes to gymnastics lately.  Holidays, basketball games, cold weather are to blame.  But this week we got fired up hard again.  Cheerleading tryouts are right around the corner.  Little Miss Britches went with us this week too.  I dreaded it because she just itches to get out there with them. She and I dropped the big girls off and went to Walmart for the first hour.  Then I explained real carefully to her that if she would sit in the chair like a big girl until they got through, she would be able to get out there and do her jumps and cheers before we left.  Little Miss Britches did exactly just that.  She didn't move out of her chair the whole hour.  She was a perfect little angel.  Although little angel asked me forty-leven times if they were through yet, she never once got up out of her chair and make me chase her all over the gym.  Score!!

We celebrated Larry's birthday.  Molly is all about presents now.  She likes anything to do with presents.  She was even happy giving them.  We did simple little gifts and then went out to eat.

Everyone had to pick out their own birthday card.  We couldn't just get one.  I did pick Molly's out for her since she can't read yet.  (Or maybe Sadie did)   Anyway, there were more cards to open than presents.

We have taken all these birthday opportunities to try to teach Molly that she also has a birthday coming up.  I can just tell you that she is not excited about turning three.  Most of the time when you tell her, she gets mad and says she's two.   It kinda leaves me wondering how many candles to put on her cake.

I have decided I am not doing a big birthday party for her.  We will just keep it simple with family.  It is on a Sunday, so we will try to think of something a little more different than our usual Sunday afternoon nap routine.  But before then Sadie is turning 16!!!  I tried to pin her down on a birthday party because that is a big birthday to celebrate.  I was thinking a party at the country club, but the little toot doesn't have a day free.  We decided together to wait until it warms up and things slow down a little, then have a little BBQ deck party.

Happy Birthday Larry!!! I am not believing Sadie is turning 16 but please, please, please make sure we are invited to the party! WE will be there!! I think it's a big time to celebrate too! Maybe I should have Dylan's 16th party at the country club so all OUR family and friends can come and celebrate his life! We used to have all of his parties there but stopped after a while. I think it would be fun to celebrate his 16th with all them again! Something I'll have to get his approval on, of course! HA!

I love you honey child!
