After weeks of freezing to death, it was finally a beautiful day last Friday on Valentine's Day. Larry and I took off at lunch and played golf. It was windy, but nice.
We had planned a much needed night out, but didn't realize there were basketball games that night. Who schedules basketball games in Valentine's Day?
The church was having a fundraiser and offered babysitting that night. So we dropped off the little ones and took our date to the basketball game.
These pictures were posted on Facebook. Despite, this first picture which was labeled "Give me that rope," they both had a great time!!
There was a bounce house, a movie room, nail painting, basketball, snacks, and lots of playmates.
Sadie was suppose to help with the babysitting at the church, but had to cancel because of the ballgame.
So, Larry and I went to the game without any kids. It was not romantic or traditional, but it was fun.
After, we picked up the girls and took them to Starz for ice cream.
Even with that sugar rush at 10:00 PM, they were so worn out, they were both asleep before we got them home.
