My BFF came in for a visit last weekend. I really cherish these times. We had a fun weekend!! I am always so glad to see her come. I always hate to see her go.
Kristi had to make her rounds and had a meeting to go to, so the kids and I got to play for a while together while she was gone.
Sadie and Dylan actually got up early and went with us. As teenagers, I really thought I would have to bring them something back home.
I really love that they are such good friends. It makes my heart smile.
All these girls just love each other to pieces. They played and played. I didn't realize it at the time, but Presley was even playing with a 103 temperature. She kept telling me she was cold, but it was a little chilly outside and I just blamed it on her mother being so cold natured. When Kristi got back to the house we took her temperature and I was shocked that it was so high.
A little Tylenol and she was good to go. It didn't slow that little toot down much.
We went to the park and walked for Betty in honor of the heart walk. Kristi was supposed to attend in Fayetteville, but couldn't be in two places at one time. We walked here and Alice and Mandy joined us.
The kids walked too, but got side tracked at the playground. Dylan and Sadie stayed there with them and let them play while we finished up.
That evening we cooked hamburgers and hot dogs and had a little Guitar Hero / Band Hero concert. Much fun and competition is always present.
Sunday came fast!!! William came by first thing to tell them all bye. I was so glad to get a picture with them. I have spent lots of time in my life with these two people.
Sadie went to church with Kristi, Dylan, and Presley instead of us. We then met back at the house. I love how she is so comfortable with them and just fits as she is part of their family too.
The weekend didn't last long enough!! We have a potential shopping trip in the works coming up, so maybe I will get to see them soon.
Until then, here we are promising to 'Stay Fierce.'
