Molly and I made another trip to the doctor last week. She is a pro at the doctor. She loves to get her blood pressure taken. The nurse knows that she loves it and lets her help pump up the arm band. She had her normal cough. I have been tracking and recording the dates since Christmas to try to find some kind of pattern or reasoning. We are convinced it is allergies and we switched allergy medicines. I'm hoping this will help. She gets pretty miserable at times. Obviously, she feels fine here. It was just the irritating cough that she wanted rid of.
We also went to MeMe's last weekend for Easter. Little Rowdy got baptized. MeMe and Papa cooked a good lunch. Trisha brought baskets of goodies for everyone. Sadie almost got fired. It was too wet to do the Easter egg thing. But we had a good time and a good visit.!
The cheer squad went to Kaden's house and took her lots of hats. She is starting to lose her hair from the chemo. Kaden was to have an interview with a sports magazine to which she won a contest. Kaden wanted the girls to come for the interview too. Sadie was moved by Kaden's story and her strength through all of this.
Grandma Geri came and stayed a few days with us. It wasn't a planned visit and it wasn't for a good reason, her dad passed away at 82 last Tuesday, but we had a good time with her and we got to meet lots of Larry's family that we had never met.
Molly and Grandma Geri were something together! Molly learned very fast that Grandma Geri doesn't say no to her. She stayed with her instead of going to Verna's. Sadie and Sophie were a little jealous because they had school. They missed out on the pedicures and Western Sizzlin. It would be neat if she moved closer than Arizona, but I know all three of these girls would be more spoiled than they already are if she was around all the time. She always cries when she leaves us and it breaks my heart.
