Volcano Day at school was a success.!! Sophie was worried that her volcano wouldn't erupt. I was worried they were going to get rained out. But we both worried for nothing.
Sophie mostly did her volcano by herself. I did mix the dough but she did everything else. She wanted to make a big elaborate volcano, but sometimes simple is better.
I thought it turned out pretty good. This was the first one I participated in. Billy helped Sadie with hers so I was a little nervous about that.
I may have griped a little about having to do school projects at home, but as usual all that went away when I saw Sophie with hers.
She was so excited about erupting it!! Larry went to pick up Molly so she could watch too. She was distraught when Sophie left for school and she was going to miss the eruption. But in true Molly fashion, when she got there all she was concerned about was "Can I go play on the playground?"
This whole process didn't last very long. Her volcano did exactly what it was suppose to do. Sophie was ecstatic.
Larry checked Sophie out of school and took her and Molly to the park to play for a while.
Win. Win.
