Sophie and I rode together and Molly and Larry rode together. We had a little race of course. Molly and Larry passed us once.
But Sophie and I sucked them up and got back in the lead.
We even lapped them!! Of course we did. We are excellent drivers.
Sadie and Dylan had a friendly little race too. Let's just say that Sadie needs a few lessons. She got sucked up quick and couldn't catch back up. She tried her little heart out too.
Larry and Presley rode together. Kristi took pictures. She chose to sit out. It may or may not have been because of a flipped go-kart in the earlier years.
That was much fun and worth the few bucks we spent on it. I don't think I could have handled much longer. That thing vibrated me to death.
I can't tell you how many times those little girls got in and out of that hot tub. I know they were in there more than they were out during their waking hours.
Someone called a rematch for Phase 10 the second night.
I can't remember how many times poor Dylan got skipped, but it was a lot.
Of course it wasn't all my fault. These little toots did it too!! It was too fun!!
Also, this happened: You might be a redneck.....if the water faucet doesn't work and you need to add water to the hot tub because little girls splash a lot, so you unhook the washing machine and shoot water out the laundry room window into the hot tub. Redneck or Genius. I can't decide which one.
We had lunch one day at Greatful Head. It was pretty good stuff.
Kristi got some treats for the kids at the gift shop. Suckers with ants and worms in them. It was hilarious when they figured out what was in there. They said they were not eating them. Kristi was the only brave soul. She ate the sucker with the ants in it. Kristi told the kids that you are suppose to do stuff on vacation that you wouldn't usually do. Presley said that she wasn't dying on vacation!! Presley, Sophie, and Dylan did take a couple of licks, but wouldn't get close to the ants.
We drove around the dam and spillway and camping and fishing areas of Broken Bow Lake. The recent flood had everything torn up. I have to admit that even though there has been lots of devastation from the flood, it was beautiful where the water had carved into the land. It's just one of those things that you stand there in awe and try to let it all sink in.
These girls played really well together the whole time. Usually three is a crowd, but they did good to include each other.
They had water gun fights too. I didn't get any pictures of that because we were busy dodging squirts most of the time.
But these girls played their little hearts out every minute they were awake. I think they wore me out because they played so hard.
