The last official family outing before school started back was a trip to the lake.  Sadie suggested we call it the "Annual Marion Lake Day" and do it every year.  She insisted that we plan around her schedule of course.  (and we always do.)

So, we planned it and went with it.  MeMe even came down for the fun.  The girls were surprised and excited that she came.  You just can't tell about her these days.  

Molly loves driving the boat.  This time she got a little carried away.  She wanted to do it all herself and I'm pretty sure she isn't ready for that yet.  Larry kept control and monitored the throttle, fighting her all the way.  

Sadie and Sophie have always loved the water.  They have taught Molly to love the water.  I'm pretty sure every day wouldn't be too much for them to be out on the lake.  

I think that MeMe enjoyed herself.  She said it had been years since she had been to the lake.  She swam and even rode the tube.  Everyone was impressed with that!! 

Little Diva didn't go to sleep this time.  She was worn out, but she fought it.  

These girls stole MeMe's and Sadie's hats and had to model them.  

We took snacks and drinks and made an afternoon of it.  We would ride a while.

And we would swim a while. 

and we would tube a while. 

I think everyone had a great time!  

Molly fell asleep fast when we got on the road.  Sweet sister Sadie, held her little head up all the way home.  Life is good when you are 4 years old!
