Bow season is upon us.  Larry has been hunting a few days.  He hasn't brought home any meat though.  We got the bows out one evening and did a little target practice.  Sadie tried to shoot my bow and we laughed forever at her trying to pull it back.  She finally got to where she did it by herself a few times until she wore out.  

Larry bought Sophie and Molly a youth bow.  It is a little too much for Molly right now, but Sophie loves to shoot it.  She said she would stick to the gun though when she goes to kill a deer.

Of course, I HAD to show them how it's done.  

Molly even got in on the fun, but her favorite part is going to get the arrow out of the target.

Can you tell someone is ready for Christmas???  Mrs. Verna was cleaning out some of her stuff in the attic an found this dress.  She gave it to Molly and she absolutely loves it!!  She wears it alot.  Even when it's 105 degrees outside.

Molly also loves to make trips to the library.  Mrs. Verna takes her some days when it's just the two of them there.  She doesn't let her check the books out, which is a good idea.  They just read a few books there.  Molly thinks she's big stuff when she's in the library.

These last few pictures are really random.  Sophie and her cheesing face is just precious.  She's a hoot!!  She is deathly afraid of the dark and WILL NOT go outside for anything alone if it is dark outside.  I mean so afraid that she will start crying if you even mention her going outside by herself.  In this picture it wasn't as dark as the picture looks and everyone was outside together in arms reach, so she was fine.

These pictures are kinda creepy cool.  Jonathan that works at the radio station was wanting to do a zombie video for fun for Halloween.  He asked if Sadie would participate and let him get a few shots of her.  We met at a cemetery and he took several pictures.  

She makes a good zombie!
