Last day of school for Sophie!!  She has absolutely loved 5th grade.  She is enjoying elementary school so much.  She worked hard all year and held all A's on her report card each 9 weeks until the end.  She was disappointed because she ended up with a B in math this 9 weeks.  An 88%.  Two points away from all A's all year.  She was a little sad about that.  But I am so extremely proud of her and don't even care about the all A's.  She has rocked it this year!!

They had their awards assembly at school.  She was awarded the Citizenship Award.  This describes her very well.  She is always wants to be the teacher's helper and she tries very hard to be friends with everybody.  I am super proud of her!!

Here she is with the group.  She looks tall to me at home, but she isn't compared to this group.  She looks tiny back there on the back row.

The same night we attended Sadie's last banquet of the year.  There has been so many this year.  This was the Spring Sports Banquet.  

Being the only girl on the golf team, she was awarded Top Female Golfer, All District, and All State. 

She earned the last two awards and in my opinion the first one as well, even if she was the only girl.

Coach Worthen called her up in front of the large group and bragged on her.  

He said very nice things about her.  He hates to loose her next year and is trying to already recruit Sophie to take her place when she is old enough.  

Sadie also was recognized in cheer.  Here are the Senior Cheerleaders.  Just as I knew she would.  She is already missing high school.
