This year we celebrated Sophie's birthday almost all week long.  Spencer got to come down and spend a couple of days with us.  We picked her up on Sunday, then Monday we loaded up and went to float the Caddo River.

It was kinda funny because when I checked my Facebook that day, it showed me my memories from a year ago.  Exactly one year ago, we went and floated the Caddo River. 

This time Sadie didn't go, she was at cheer camp.  So it was Larry, Sophie, Spencer, Molly, and me.

We had a good time.  The water was just cool enough to be refreshing.

The water was just high enough to slowly float and stop and swim.

We took snacks and stopped whenever we wanted just to play in the water.  We were trying to make most of the day of it.

Spencer and Sophie seemed to enjoy it.

They even put on a little show for us a time or two.

They practiced their stunts.

We stopped and lathered up with sunscreen a time or two.

And just like the last time, exactly a year ago, it clouded up and a storm blew in just as we were finishing up.

This is always a fun day trip.
