Sadie's first week of college is under her belt.  She had to move in on Sunday and classes don't start until the Tuesday after that.  She had to go early for cheer practices.

Thursday, the rest of the freshman moved in, early as well.  Then freshman orientation started for several days.  They had things planned every day.

This was sent to me from Kaycee's mom.  She went up Thursday to move Kaycee in.  She sent this to me that said, "Sadie said she is making it fine."

I have heard from Sadie every day.  Some days it's not much, but anything is good with me.  I have tried really hard not to bug her and to just let her contact me.  Give her some space.  Let her do her thing, you know.

It's hard not to send her messages every hour on the hour and ask her millions of questions.  But she is sending me some pictures, which I love!!!  I hope she continues to do that.

She sent me a picture and a message one night that said, "I feel like an adult.  I washed my own laundry and we are going bowling."

I'm not sure what is adult about bowling, except that she didn't have to ask anyone for permission or even tell anyone where she was going or when she was going to be home.

I also found a Facebook page of one of the professors that takes alot of the OBU pictures.  I stalk his page regularly too.  That's where this one came from.  They were at some kind of freshman orientation function.

I did beg Sadie to send me pictures of their room when Medora got hers all done.  I had to remind her several times.  But she finally did.

It's hard to take pictures of the room and get all of it.  It's just so small.

But she did a good job!  I will take what I can get.

She sent me this picture that said that she was still making her room "homier."  She is adding more every day it seems like.  I'm sure she will until it's time for her to move out.

The sweetest thing is that she remembered to send me a first day of school picture.  I was super pumped about that.

MeMe and I sent her some mail.  We were on pins and needles waiting on her to tell us she got them.  We thought she would never check her mailbox.  She loved them and loves getting mail.  I told her that I would try to send her something every now and then.   (I so suck at that!!)

Then there was this purple and gold party that they had during orientation.  Apparently there was a photo booth set up there.  It looks like they had loads of fun with that.
