Red Ribbon Week was a hit.  This was Molly's first one.  She really enjoyed dressing up every day.

Monday was Red, White, and Blue Day for Molly.  Sadie helped the weekend before with some of their accessories.  She made tutus and hats for them.

Sophie is an old pro at Red Ribbon Week.  She said that elementary has boring dress up days.  She made the best of every day though and showed her spirit proudly!
Monday was Wear Red Day for Sophie.

It was sure easier to get these girls going in the mornings when they had make-up and clothes to get ready.

I was able to steal some pictures from Facebook during the week when the schools posted some of the kids dressed up.  This one is some girls in Molly's class.

Tuesday was Crazy Socks Day for Molly.  This was as crazy as she could get with it.  There is only so much you can do with socks, but considering she doesn't match at all -- that's pretty crazy for her.

Tuesday was Camo Day for Sophie.  She definitely camo-ed out!!

Sophie said there was a boy at school that was making fun of her.  She said she told him, "I'm just showing my school spirit.  I wish you would have participated."
Good for you Sophie!

This is picture that Molly's teacher posted.  A cute picture of all the crazy kids, I mean, crazy socks in her class.

This picture was posted of Sophie.  I think she's adorable.

Wednesday was Crazy Hat day for Molly.  She was not quite happy with her hat.  Sadie and I spent a long time gluing confetti on that plastic hat with modge podge.  Molly said that it was CRAZY hat day and her hat was pretty - not CRAZY.  But she wore it proudly anyway.

Wednesday was Pink Out day for Sophie.  She wore pink everything!  Sadie had made her tutu.  The shirt is the sleep shirt that MeMe got her for Halloween.  She did the rest of the pink from her closet.

I think this was Sophie's favorite day.  I think she would have been happy if she could have gotten crazy with it every day.

Thursday was What you want to be when you grow up day.  I always hate this day.  How do you dress your kid up for what they want to be when they grow up.  We have never been very original on this day.  Molly had decided that she wanted to be a Mommy.  She was going to take a baby doll with her and just go with that.  Then after a trip to the ER the night before, she changed her mind and wanted to be a doctor.  I told her that she could be both in real life if she wanted.  Thank God we had Doc McStuffin's stuff at home for her costume.

It was Crazy Hat and Crazy Socks Day for Sophie.  Sadie made her hat.  When we went to Hobby Lobby to get tutu supplies, Sadie asked what Sophie's crazy hat was.  I told her that I had a straw hat I was going to let her use.  Sadie found these plastic hats and said, "Get me some straws and I will make her a STRAW HAT."  I thought it was clever.  MeMe thought it was HILARIOUS!!!

Sophie said the teachers thought it was funnier than the kids at school.  I'm sure the kids didn't get it like the teachers did.

Look at these future kids.  Pretty cute!!

Friday was Scrapper Day - for both.

Every Friday is Scrapper Day.  They always support their Scrappers.

Molly did consider wearing purple for the Tigers.  She changed her mind and I was glad she did because we don't have that much purple yet.

It was a fun week and they both enjoyed dressing up.  It was exciting in the mornings when I took their pictures.  It was exciting the night before when we laid their outfit out.

Then Monday, Molly got one more day when they asked primary to wear pink for Breast Cancer Awareness.  We reused Sophie's pink tutu.  It wasn't in the best of shape, but it worked and Molly loved it.
