Sadie finished her first semester of college.  Well-her first official "college life semester".  She left high school with 28 hours.

If you ask Sadie how is college?  She replies:
It sucks.  I hate college.  Ugh.  Blah.  It's okay.  It's hard.  I hate college.

But I really think that she is doing well with it now.  It was an adjustment.  Sometimes she isn't the best in time management skills; sometimes she just wants to be home and be left alone by everyone; sometimes she just doesn't want to have any responsibilities.  But who doesn't??
She has a semester behind her now and she did really good.

She took 16 hours and ended the semester with all A's and one B.  She was a little worried about her B because she loves to make A's, but college is hard and it is supposed to be.  I am proud of her grades and I am proud that she cares about her grades.

So it shows that she did in fact study, maybe not in the library where Larry told her to, but she did study.  It also shows that she must have used some time management skills because she was involved in a lot of activities as well as cheer.

She has learned that it is very hard to live with somebody.  She has learned that she has to use her time wisely in order to accomplish everything that she wants to accomplish.  She has learned that you have to make sacrifices and that you can't have everything you want.  She has learned that it is dangerous to go to Walmart because there are forces there that you can't see that steal all of your money.  She has learned that it is possible to get tired of Chic-fil-a.  She has learned that it is possible to maintain a long distance relationship if you try hard enough.  She has learned if you keep working on something that you improve in all areas. She has learned about psychology, contemporary world, wellness, public speaking, and OBU connections.

What is even greater than all that is that she is learning all about the Bible while she is doing all of that.

She isn't perfect.
She is still trying to figure things out.  She sometimes does things that drive me batty...
but I love her and I am super proud of her.
