The basketball season is over for Sophie.  It has been a fun year.  Sophie has improved and gotten alot more confidence this year.

Larry really enjoyed coaching.  He did a really good job.  I think all of the girls enjoyed it and got alot out of it.

I'm pretty sure that he won't coach basketball next year.  I'm also pretty sure that won't be his last coaching job though.  Molly will be involved in lots of stuff and she is pretty competitive.  I think he will have the opportunity and will jump in there whenever he can.

We had a pizza party to celebrate the season.  They only won three games, but they played super hard every game.

They were fun to watch and I can't wait to see what Sophie decides to do next year.  

Next year will be junior high.  Big time for her.  It will be interesting to see if she does basketball and if she gets in their and loves it.  I secretly hope she does.

Another benefit of trying new things is that you get to meet and interact with people that you wouldn't necessarily get to otherwise.  This is Emily.  She is a grade behind Sophie.  They really made a neat little friendship that will probably last alot longer than this basketball season.
