To celebrate our anniversary, Larry booked us a trip to Lake Fork.
It seemed fitting with all the fishing we have been doing.
It was hard fishing, but we had a good time.
It was beautiful, hot, and windy.
The first night we fished until 10:30pm.
We might have stayed a little longer but a little storm was blowing in so we thought we better get off the water.
It looked beautiful as it was building.
We got up the next morning and was on the water early. We fished until it started getting way hot and then packed up and headed home to our girls.
Lake Fork is a well known big fishing lake. There are some whoppers in there. Ten and Twelve pound bass are not uncommon there.
We didn't get on any big ones. We caught seven fish total. (Larry 4 and me 3)
We had a good time and I learned that lake fishing is alot harder than pond fishing.
