We have put more fishing hours in this summer than golf.
I'm not one for sunrises,
but I love me some sunsets!
Especially on the water.
We have caught some pretty good fish over the past few weeks.
This one even had lipstick on...
because it's important when you are swimming around trying to find a date.
We finally did bite the bullet and bought a fishing boat. Molly was mad because we didn't get a "lake boat" but she did pitch in a dollar. She said she wanted to help buy it. Then she added that she wanted us to give her the boat when she got married so she and her husband can go fishing.
I'm sure it's because of sunsets like this:
Larry is quite the guide and is teaching us lots!
Molly goes occasionally and Sophie even less than that.
But I have learned to bribe them with things they want to do to be able to get to go sometimes.
I'm sure that it's right, but it works.
We have even been fishing in the rain. I'm not above it.
I'm just not sure how I'm going to feel about fishing in the cold.
Molly does love the boat rides though. She always asks me, "Is that all the speed it will go?"
I love to watch Sophie when we go to Millwood. She is scared to death of the alligators. She hasn't even been when we have seen one up close. I don't know what she will do then.
My biggest fish so far was caught on Millwood. It weighed 4 lbs 15 oz.
Larry caught one the next day at Millwood. It weighed 4 lbs 8 oz.
There's even bigger ones in there. Surely I can beat that record.
