So we did a little back yard camping....

Molly had never slept in a tent.  She was way way excited.

Sophie was a little intrigued, but no where close to as excited as Molly.

Sadie was not impressed at all and opted to sleep inside where the air conditioner was blowing nicely at the temperature she set it at.  She did take part in the outdoor activities until it was bed time at least.

We pitched the tent in the back yard. 

We also gathered some firewood and roasted our hot dogs on the fire.

Molly sang us a couple of campfire songs that she composed just for the occasion.

As soon as it got pitch black, we headed inside the tent for some shut eye.

I wasn't sure if Sophie would make it all night because she is deathly afraid of the dark.  However, once she was zipped in, I knew she wouldn't have the guts to leave in the middle of the night by herself in the dark.

Larry got up at about 4:00am and went inside to the couch.  The girls and I slept in until about 6:30.

Backyard camping was a success!!
