Molly's basketball debut:

Little League basketball at Whiteside Gym- This is where it started for Sophie.  

Molly is following right in her footsteps, except just a little bit sooner.  

Molly got in there and put her best basketball skills to work.

She isn't very fast, but she tries hard!  I really think she got a little faster before the end of the season.  

She got to take the ball out most plays.  She played post most games.  

She wasn't very aggressive in going in to fight for the ball.  She was very intentional in defending her spot where the coach told her to play.  Especially when she figured out that it meant NOT letting anyone score and not just keeping your spot on the floor.

Sophie was her best cheerleader.  She also helped her at home by doing practice drills with her.  

After all the practice, Molly started scoring points during some games.  

They finished the season and got second place in the Championship.
