Oops! This is neat!

Sometimes something you think is a mistake turns out to be something pretty wonderful....

I got a new camera [for work] and I am loving it. I have been playing with it and trying to learn how to pretend like I know what I'm doing. It has lots of automatic settings on it, which I really like. But it also has manual settings that I have been playing with. I will really like that part when I figure it all out. Right now apeture, ISO, and shutter speed is something foreign to me. I am going to figure it out. I think I can I think I can.....

Anyway! I accidently took this picture and I thought it was so neat. I was trying some different things out the night before and figure out that I can take one picture in a multi burst setting that will take 16 shots with one snap of the camera. This will be really cool to capture things like a golf swing, or a baseball swing, or a jump rope shot, etc. anything with the subject in motion. So, the next morning I walk into the living room and notice that my girls are sitting on the couch watching TV waiting on me to finish dressing and the are posed in the same position with their pop tart in the same hand. It was adorable to me. So I grabbed the camera, forgetting that I didn't return the camera to automatic mode and I got this.

At first I was disappointed because I missed the shot that I wanted, but then pleased that I found this mistake. So, of course I had to play with the settings and try it again to see if I could accomplish it on purpose. And I did. Love it. I can't wait to try it on something that is actually moving!

Cool! What kind of camera is it? I have a book on apeture, ISO and shutter speed, that really helped me understand the relationship among the three.
