Target practice anyone??

Being a parent is many of things. I enjoy most of things about it and am challenged with only some of the responsibilities. The rest just makes me laugh.

Case and point: Kids think they have to be involved in every task that you do, unless of course they are over the age of six and it involves cleaning something. Then they are no where to be found. But, get out a bow and set up a target and they turn into the most eager helpers you could find.

(Below) E-1. Larry practicing with his bow because bow season has just opened and we are hoping for some meat. Note the little helpers near him.

(Below) E-2. Sadie with the spotting scope keeping Larry honest with his accuracy and distance, and giving him spot specific target locations to test his expertise.

(Below) E-3. Sophie holding the arrows near for reloads and also doing a little practice of her own.

This makes me laugh and so very proud of all of them!!

Little helpers indeed! The girls look like they will be naturals someday!
