The day after we got back home from our vacation, Sadie had her very first golf tournament. It was an adult child tournament on our home course. Sadie has played on and off this summer some and went to the Junior Golf Clinic that was offered.

She really has a good swing and actually hits the ball well when she makes good contact with it. This particular tournament was a scramble and the children were the only ones that could putt.

Sadie is alot like me in that she gets very aggravated at herself when she makes mistakes. She strives to be perfect and doesn't like to disappoint.

Sophie and I followed along and watched. Sophie is a very good cheerleader until she gets bored. 18 holes is a little too long to keep her occupied.

She did really well at first though, especially posing.

All children who participated got a prize, which I thought was wonderful. Larry and Sadie did very well. Sadie was pleased with their score even though it didn't matter.

The only thing I must add to this is that I did not dress her that morning. Just ignore the purple socks. She is expressing her own fashion statement. One of which screams..."Mom I they are the only ones I could find."

Her excuse, which I did not buy, just rolled right off my shoulder. There are way more important things in life, and this makes perfect blackmail material for her future.

Go Sophie Go!!! Pose all you want to sweetie!
Love!!!
That is cool! Walter has been enjoying golfing this summer too. If he'd known you didn't have a partner, he would have hooked up. He was desperate to be in that tournament but couldn't find a grown up to partner with.
