2010 Spring Couples Tournament turned out to be good. We were scared of thunderstorms and rain for the weekend, but it quit in time for our 2 day tournament.

This year I am on the tournament committee and what an experience that was! I think everything turned out fine and everyone enjoyed themselves. There were 38 teams that signed up and showed up for the tournament this year.

This is T Lynn, the one with the big mouth, giving out the rules and instructions before play. She wouldn't care that I called her that because we appointed her to that position last week. As well as being elected "Biggest Mouth," she is also the President this year of the Ladies Golf Association. We are responsible for the couples' tournaments and the ladies' tournaments at our club.

Brenda brought her camera and I didn't. She went around snapping pictures and made me jealous that I forgot mine. She promised me copies and she came through for me. (pictures courtesy of Brenda.)

Here is Larry and me before play on Sunday. We were at the bottom of the Championship Flight with 2 under. We were 6 strokes out coming in on Sunday.

Larry and I finished 4th place. We could have scored higher, but we through some holes away near the end. Tony and Theresa won the tournament after a playoff with T and Mark. Congrats to both of those teams!! (and to all of the teams that placed in each flight.)

Looking forward to Idabel next weekend, to see how we do there. I'm sure we will be wet. The forecast is showing rain again.....all weekend.
