I bought a book of 100,000 baby names. Larry and I have been having a tad bit of trouble agreeing on a girl's name. He likes the new current names that everyone uses. It's safe. It's familiar. It's boring. I, on the other hand, like the old fashion or unique names that have some spunk, that everyone doesn't use.

So, I bought the book and brought it home with 2 different colored highlighters. Larry and I both went through the girl's names and the highlighters never matched. We still have a long time to figure it out, but our list of 'maybes' is very short.
The names that are on our list right now are:

Cade Monroe (boy) Molly Addison (girl) Berkley Maddison (girl)

What? No Tyler? LOL!! Neat names but so far none that begins with an S. This baby will be an oddball if you don't. I kid, I kid!

Do we get to vote and/or make suggestions?? I'm going to anyway! (HA!) I love the name Blakely for a girl. That was right in line with Presley but Mother's love for Elvis won that for her. I love Ava for a little girl & thought about that for Presley's middle name but because my Larry wasn't too fond of Presley - I had to go with Dale (as a seller) since it was his grandfather's name! But seriously, I don't know why you wouldn't name her Michelle after a certain someone! (HINT!) Or you could go with Sally Jayne (to keep with the "S" girl names!)

Either way, here's some Betty advise...holler the name out the backdoor, as you were calling him/her in for dinner or even as if you were getting on to him/her to make sure it "flows"!!!

I am TOO freaking excited about this baby!

Need to add this now that Diane commented about Tyler...I thought the same thing...No Tanner for a boy?? You can use my favorite boy name...Logan! If you use it just right, he could have the same initials as his daddy! That's always a good seller!

And seriously, Dylan feels like an oddball because all of our names minus his end with "E" OOPS...wasn't intentional but do keep that in mind - you don't want to leave the girls out!
Love you!

You are a brave soul! Tim and I never told our baby's names because I didn't want to hear other people's opinions. LOL I know a lot of people would not have like the name Walter, but how could he be named anything else. He's such a Walter. LOL

I will say that, like you, I love the old fashioned names too.

Good luck deciding. I hope you and Larry's highlighters match up soon. :)

Names I like from Diane's list....Stella, Scarlett & Sally. Just thought I'd get my vote in while I could! Hmmm...no boy names in there Diane? I'm still leaning towards a little boy! I think we should do the pee on drano test and/or needle and string test to see what that says. My string test was right on!
