Well, here we go.... our little surprise is growing. Dr. S says that I am 12 weeks along and gave me a due date of Valentine's Day. We could hear the heartbeat at 156 heartbeats per minute and we could see the baby on the ultrasound very distinctly. You could count the fingers and toes and see the heart beating. You could see the spine, the brain, the eyes, mouth and chin. It is amazing that you can tell where the knees are and the elbows and the stomach and the umbilical cord and the baby is only a little over 2 inches long.

Even though it is way to early to tell, the nurse predicted it was a baby girl because there was so much early brain development. (cracks me up)

Yesterday was the sickest I have been yet and it lasted all day. All I wanted to do was lay down. When we arrived at my appointment, the nurse gave me the yucky-sugary-orange drink for the glucose test. I prayed the whole time that I just kept it down, and thankfully I did.

The girls are super excited and want a baby brother. It will be a little while before we know....

Well, I'm still going for a boy! But IF you have a smart little girl...OMG, I have TONS of girl things to pass on! And I SO knew you were pregnant when I saw you in July. Not sure how I knew, but I just KNEW!!!

Of course, girls have earlier brain development. It takes a long time to develop perfection! LOL

Congrats again! You and Jamie are due less than two weeks apart. How cool is that!? Jamie has not done the glucose test yet.

Sorry you are feeling crummy. Hope it passes soon.

Oh and I agree with the nurse, it's going to be a girl. Just because you make gorgeous girls and it would be a shame to waste all that "gorgeousness" on a boy!
