Red Ribbon Week is something that Sadie has looked forward to every year. She loves the 'dress up days' every day and she loves all the activities. This year is Sophie's first Red Ribbon Week, and she is way excited about it too.
I am going to try to get pictures every morning before they leave for school to document their school spirit. They will love it one day.
Each school has their own 'days' that they designate for different "wear this" or "dress up as this" day, but they are all for the same purpose.....Drug Free!
Today is the first day and the Primary students are suppose to wear Red today.
But Junior High goes a notch or two from wear red day. Today at Junior High is Rockstar Day.
And Sadie and I went a notch or two up and decided on the Lady Gaga look. Anything with a wig and makeup is fun dress up stuff!
Sadie has been too old for trick or treating for several years. This is her chance to dress up big and have a little fun with it! You go girl!!

Of all people...LADY GAGA!!! OH MY GAGA!! She pulled it off, but I'd have never dreamed that one up! Rock On Sadie!
Maybe we'll get this chance sometime...I'd probably go with PINK and be singing - I'm still a rock star / I got my rock moves / And I don't need you!!!! Oh wait....it's not for me though, is it?
I too used to LOVE Red Ribbon Week.

And by the way, I love Sophie's hair cut! At least it looks cut in this picture!
