30 Random Things about Me....

Kristi challanged us to post 30 random things about ourself. I knew it was going to be a tough one, but I was up to the challenge.... here goes....................

1. I am the mother of 3 beautiful girls. Sadie, Sophie, and Molly.

2. I am 37 years old and still feel like I am 20-something. It is hard to believe how fast the years are passing by.

3. I hate feet. To me, feet are gross. I do not like anyone's feet to touch me anywhere. I don't know why. (There is one exception...baby feet are precious!)

4. I sleep on my side generally, but have been loving sleeping on my belly since the little papoose is out.

5. Friends are very important to me. I have many people that I consider friends, but a few that are extra special in extra special ways. Kristi has been in my life FOREVER and it feels like Diane has been in my life FOREVER. They are both very special to me.

6. I love my new house. We are getting ready to do landscaping very soon. I am getting excited about adding color and pretty to the outside of my new house.

7. I love my family. Just like everyone else's family....we are a little disfunctional. But now that I have adjusted to that, I have accepted it and wouldn't have it any other way.

8. I believe that everything happens for a reason.

9. I am not an animal lover. Don't get me wrong, I like animals. I just don't love and cuddle with animals.

10. My favorite number is 3.

11. I love my job. To me it is not a job, but a career. I enjoy what I do most of the time. It can be very frustrating at times, but is very rewarding over all.

12. I am very proud of my girls. Each of them are different in so many ways, but such a joy in my life.

13. I am happily married. Marriage is tough. I am glad that I have someone that is very close to me and my best friend.

14. I love pictures. I like to make slideshows, photobooks, and unique memories with photos. I will probably regret it one day, but I don't get many prints made now. I just burn them on CDs.

15. I like to play the Wii with the girls. We have all kinds of games and sometimes play for hours. I rock on the 'Guitar Hero!'

16. I love to play golf. I wish I would have started it earlier in life, but I do love it alot!! I play every chance I get.

17. I love to play Texas Hold 'Em. Sometimes Larry, Sadie, and I will play at home together.

18. I have a fettish for flip-flops. I am not a typical woman who has a million pair of shoes. In fact, I wear the same pair of shoes every day (almost.) But I do love flip-flops and have too many of them.

19. I think that I am pretty open-minded. I know that everyone thinks that they are, but I really think that I am able to look objectively at both sides of a situation.

20. I love vegetables. I am not too big on fruit and I'm not fond of sweets, but I love to eat.

21. I like to play spades. We have started playing spades with a couple every other weekend, and we are really enjoying that time.

22. I really enjoy watching Sadie and Sophie with their dance class. I never took dance and was never interested in it, but I really thoroughly enjoyed the recital last year and am looking forward to it this year. They are my little ballerinas.

23. I love New Orleans.....and gumbo, and crawfish, and courtyards.

24. I am not a very thoughtful person. It's not that I don't want to be. Often times when someone does something nice for me, it makes me feel bad that I haven't thought to do something special and unique for them like that. Then I don't want them to feel like I returned the favor just because they did it for me. So, I just sit there and say...."Why didn't I think of that?"

25. I love reality shows. We watch American Idol every season and the Big Break on the Golf Channel, but we have also started watching Survivor and The Amazing Race.

26. I am a weatherbug. I love to watch the weather and track storms.

27. I have a passport, but have never used it.

28. Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know which one you are going to get. Just for the record....I don't like the ones with the filling in the middle. That's the one I usually get.

29. I am awful at keeping my vehicle clean. It is almost impossible with kids anyway.

30. Love is my favorite word. I love to love. I love to be loved. I love to feel love. I love to give love. There is nothing better in the world than love.
