My sweet little Sophie has lost yet another tooth
!! It was her other top front tooth, which made a huge hole in her smile. It is still the most precious smile though. She let Mrs. Hill pull this tooth at school, which started a domino effect. Two other kids lost teeth in the class that day. The tooth fairy was some kind of busy that night!! (And she did very well, I might add. Since she got that address thing straightened out, everything has been right on schedule!) Believe it or not, the other front bottom tooth is also loose. At $5.00 per tooth, I'm wondering if someone isn't trying to make their teeth fall out. It is hilarious, because Sophie refuses to put her tooth under her pillow. She is so afraid that the tooth fairy won't be able to find it under there. She puts in on her night stand on top of her remote control so it is in plain view. (It took me forever to find it the first time because I was looking under the pillow!) But whatever works! (I love this kid.!!)
Molly is growing and learning new things every day. She is really a little stinker and we are all enjoying her. She is a ham and loves attention. There is nothing any better than being outside to her. She loves to walk on the road and she loves to go for rides in the golf cart.
She has slowed down a little as far as her growth spurt. I am anxious to go to the doctor next week to see what she weighs, but she looks to me like she has slimmed down a little. She is 15 months old and wearing 18 month clothes still. She loves to eat and will eat just almost anything you give her. She rarely cries and is happy and on the go constantly.
The one thing that is most obvious is she loves her Daddy!!! She still will not say Momma. She has a couple of times, but not on command, and not on a daily basis. She will say Daddy, she will say Sadie (which is A-dee), she will say Bye, and she will call Marley (which I can't even spell out, but I know that is who she is calling because she slaps her knee when she does it.) She will patty-cake, she will make the motions and try to sing the itsy bitsy spider, and try to sing her ABCs. I know she is capable of saying Momma, she just refuses to do so.
And that's okay. She is a joy to me.
I can wait.
