Funny story...this beautiful girl flunked the driving part of her driving test. That's not the funny part because she was so upset and my heart broke for her. She was so nervous to take the driving part, even more nervous than when she took the written part. She said that the lady told her to take a right at the next stop sign as she was approaching a stop sign. Sadie said, "This one?" The lady told her no, take a right at the next one. So Sadie just blew that stop sign and prepared to take a right at the next one. She flunked the test obviously for running a stop sign. She will have to retest in about a week. Bless her bones, she is upset.
The funny story is that Sadie wanted a scooter really really bad a couple of years ago. So her MeMe got her a scooter for Christmas. She rode that thing until the batteries blew up, literally. So then she was on Larry to get her new batteries for her scooter. Larry waited until summer to order new batteries for her scooter. Well, Sadie had been driving the golf cart to the club to work every day. When her scooter got fixed, we told her that she was to drive her scooter to work instead of the golf cart. A week went by and I thought all was well. Little did I know that 'little miss teenager' was way embarrassed to ride her scooter to work. She was hiding it in the bushes when she got to work. She was grateful enough to MeMe that she didn't want to hurt her feelings by not riding it anymore; she was appreciative enough that Larry had ordered new batteries and put them on that she didn't want him to think that he did it for nothing; but she was getting teased at work because she was riding a cute little pink scooter that she thinks she is too big for. So, she finally reluctantly got up the nerve to voice her concerns about the scooter.
She said, "Mom, I'm just having a hard time driving a pink Barbie scooter to work when I have the ability to drive a car." (point taken)
Needless to say, after she realized that no one was going to be mad at her for not riding the scooter, she passed it down to Sophie. Now Sophie is styling on the pink scooter, and loving it!!
And this little thing is just trying to wait her turn. When I say trying, I really mean trying. If I would let her she would be up on that scooter trying to ride it. But I won't let her. She thinks she's so big.

That is so funny - bless her heart funny!!! That is so something I would do & I fear Dylan will do and I am afraid I'd bust a gut laughing at him!!! I love the scooter story - win for Sophie on that one!!!
Glad you posted - was afraid you'd disappeared!!! Miss you much!
oh no, on the driving part of the test! Those driving tests are stressful!!!! Tell Sadie, that while Sam may have passed the driving part he first time, it did take him three times to pass the written part. It's all good now though. This too shall pass.
Gorgeous Sophie....where did all of her teeth go? And how does she eat these days? LOL
Sweet Molly...of course, she thinks she's big. So does Kale. They have alot of big people to look up to.
