I can't help but share some of my favorite photos from Sadie's Honor Society night, also known as Cinderella night to her. She loves getting all dressed up and she was very beautiful. It was about 48 degrees that afternoon when we went to the park to take pictures. I was freezing, so I know she was almost frostbitten.
I think the shoes were her favorite part of the whole day. She loves loves loves high heel shoes and she jokes when we go shopping, always asking for some big blingy platform shoes. (I really don't think she is joking, but the answer is always no.) But for this special occasion, I let her get some big blingy platform shoes.
When we were shopping and looking at these shoes, she had them on with her skinny jeans and a regular top. She was strutting around the store to see if she could actually walk in them. She asked what I thought about them. I told her honestly, that she looked like a prostitute. I think it was the skinny jeans, and the attitude that went with a 15 year old walking around in 4 inch heels. Nevertheless, I thought the little salesman guy was going to fall off of his shoe fitting bench. I don't know if I offended him, or he thought I was an awful mother, but he finally did laugh about it. And I may have to take him a picture to let him see that she really didn't look like a prostitute.
A few of her friends met at the park to take pictures together. Not many got to show up because time is really an issue when you have hair appointments, nail appointments, group picture appointments, individual picture appointments. But the ones that did show up really had a good time posing.
I get tickled at these girls because they take pictures of themselves almost more than we take pictures of them. Of course there were pictures all over facebook before we even got to the auditorium. I love this next picture of them taking a picture of themselves. I have quite a few of these.
I have several pictures of Sadie by herself. I noticed when I went through them that she had her hands on her hips in most of them. It's okay though. I love her confidence. I love her sassyness. I love her.
These sweet girls below are Sadie's friends. Sadie has an outgoing personality. She is friends with everyone and she doesn't treat anybody any different than anyone else.
You can tell that these girls had fun posing.
I think the guys had fun too.
They loved the Charlie's Angels pose. Everyone except Tanner. He refused. We told him that he could be Charlie.
Sadie was elected Secretary of Student Council, so she had a little speech to give. She is a good speaker. She did not get that from me.
And here she is getting ready to key one of the newly inductees.
Afterwards, Sadie ate out with all of her friends. Sophie and I sat at a different table in the same restaurant. Larry and Molly had to leave during the ceremony. Molly did not care to attend.

#2 picture = LOVE!!! Enlarge & Frame! OH MY SOUL!! I have to say that it's a little awkward to see Sadie & Bailey in the same picture. Takes me back a couple of years! Whew...
They are beautiful.
Oh, I almost peed my pants at your prostitute statement. Girl that was wrong - just wrong but I can SO hear you saying that!
