Sadie is like part of the staff at NJHS.  She is close to all of the teachers and they all love her so.  Here she is in the teachers lounge celebrating like she is Miss NJHS. 

Speaking of Miss NJHS, Miss Sadie, President of Student Council, organized the first junior high dance in 9 years.  There was a great turn out and everyone had a great time.  Sadie volunteered me to work security when she was pitching the idea to the principals.  I think she regretted that decision when things started coming about, but I don't think I embarrassed her that bad.  She didn't avoid me at all, and I don't think me being there slowed her down a bit. I think everyone had a really good time, and this group of kids behaved well enough that it is quite possible another dance may happen in the future.  Hats off to Sadie! 

Saturday, little Sophie got up and went turkey hunting with Larry.  She is the hunter of the family, ya know.  She loves it!!  They got up early, about 4:45am, and headed up north.  At 9:00am, I got a text message with this picture.  She was so excited!!  She has been turkey hunting with Larry before, but this is the first turkey they came home with.  She even helped clean it, and she kept the 9 1/2 in beard.

You know when you are hunting you are not worried about what your hair looks like or how cool you are.  But when you get home, the hunter in you goes into hibernation and the diva comes alive!!
