Media Day 2013

 

First of all, I didn't even know what Media Day was until Saturday.  But we were  up and dressed and at the football field by 7:30AM.  This was the first time Sadie got to wear her uniform out of the house.  (She has tried it on several times in her room and even took pictures of herself, just to make sure it fit, of course.) 

Once there, we took pictures and pictures and pictures.  This next picture is of just the sophomore girls.  It is so hard typing that word.

I did take my good camera and the pictures turned out pretty okay.  The morning sun intruded on me just a little, but it was hard to get them still anyway. 

I took ALOT of pictures.  I went through and deleted a lot of the duplicates, or eyes closed, or sun glared ones.  I was still left with plenty!  Don't worry!  I won't post them all.

I know there will be plenty more where these came from! 

 

These are just a few of my favorite from the day.

I started to take Sophie and Molly, but I decided to let this be all about Sadie!  I'm sure Sadie appreciated that, and Sophie and Molly didn't know what they were missing anyway.

 

Sadie is such good friends with most of these girls.  I know that her friendship will grow with all of them this year. 

 

These next few pictures are with her friends from the Junior High squad.  She has gotten really close to these girls through gymnastics.  They are as precious and as silly as they look. 

I am super super proud of Sadie.  She has put in lots of hours and determination for this venture.  I know she will love it and these will be some of the sweetest memories she has. 

She doesn't have any experience, but she fits in like she has been doing this with these girls for years!

I can't wait for all of her "firsts" this year!  Friday night is her first debut at the Back to School Bash.  She is already nervous and so very excited.  I know her sisters and her parents will be so proud to watch her!!  Ok, maybe I'm a little excited too.!!
