October 10th is Billy's birthday. Sophie decided on her own that she wanted to wear camo that day.  Nobody prompted that. Nobody told her to. She just decided on her own. Sweet, sentimental, tender hearted girl!! 

She also asked me if I could get some balloons so she could send them to her Daddy on his birthday. She also thought of that on her own. I didn't suggest it. We have never done it before. She just came home and out of the blue asked me to get some balloons for her to do this. 

I went and got some balloons for Sophie and one for Molly to prevent a dramatic scene.  I thought.

Sophie wrote a note and we tied it to her balloons. We went out on the deck. Sophie released her balloons with a smile all over her face!!

They flew up, up, up. We watched them until we couldn't see them any more. 

Molly screamed and cried the whole time. She was so upset that Sophie let her balloons fly away!! 

It's funny that I was worried about this being a tearful, sad, dramatic event for Sophie. I really didn't know how she would feel or react. But it turned out that Sophie was as happy as she could be to be sending balloons to her Daddy. Molly was the one shedding tears, sad, and dramatic. 

Funny what makes one happy, makes another sad.  Life with three daughters!!! Sometimes I do manage to make them all happy at one time. Sometimes!!
