We made the trek to Lincoln this weekend. We left town not really knowing where we were going. Thank God for smart phones!! The weather was dreary and foggy but we were pumped!

We were going to the play offs and my BFF lives close and we were invited to stay with her.

It didn't take long for the little girls to take a nap. I don't blame them, I would have too.

But they didn't stay asleep very long. They were so excited!!

We stopped in Fayetteville and ate then quickly got to the football field. Kristi and her family got there right after we did.

It was super cold and windy!! I wasn't expecting it to be that cold. I was worried about Molly making it because this would be the first time Molly stayed the entire game. She did fine!! I did have to go to the car and get snuggles at half time, but it pacified her the rest of the game.

We lost to the wolves, and it was sad for all the kids, especially the seniors who realized that was their last game together. But Sadie got in a better mood as soon as we were off to Kristi's. We did some visiting and playing for a while when we got home. Then laid down for some rest.

(These photos are borrowed/stolen from Kristi. As are more following. I took my camera and then didn't use it as much as I should have.)

The next morning, Kristi's bushytail got up at the crack of dawn and cooked breakfast for everyone!! When I finally woke up, I got dressed and we did a little shopping and she showed me around her little hometown.

I was glad to get to see where she works, shops, goes to church, Presley goes to daycare, etc. made me feel even closer to her, if that's possible.

I love our friendship. I love Dylan and Presley. I even got to see her Larry.  He reminds me a lot of my Larry. So quiet and laid back.  I felt right at home with them all. They are family!!

It was hard to leave, but we will definately go back to visit. Thank you Kristi!!! Love you bunches!!

****cheer pictures from the game coming later. I managed to take a few even with the cold, wind, and Molly.
