So, we are short two guys at work and guess who gets to jump in there and fill some shifts???  You guessed it!!  Me.  This is something that I used to LOVE to do.  It's not that I don't LOVE it anymore, it's just harder now.  I will spare you all the whines and pains if you promise that you will believe me when I say it's harder now.  Let's face it, I'm getting older...

This morning I get up and get fully dressed in my uniform and go into the living room where Molly is sitting on the couch.  I couldn't wait to see what she would say when she saw me.  She looked at me wide-eyed and asked, "You going swimming?"  I said "No, I'm going to work."  She then asked, "You got you lifejacket on?"

To her, my vest is just like her lifejacket.  I guess in many ways it is similar.  Smart cookie right there!!

Of course, I only had a couple of weeks to be dreading this and it could have been way way worse.  I could be having to cover graveyards.  But it is funny how God was laughing at me this morning when it was 14 degrees outside. He knows how much I hate the cold!!

It did make me feel better when I got home and Sadie wanted to try on my stuff. She looked cute as a button and she too said the pants were tight. That's worth me not being able to breathe all day.

We also figured out what Sadie can be for Hallowen this year. Sophie decided she wanted to be her prisoner. When I asked what Molly was going to be, Sophie said she could be Sadie's K9.

Sophie was styling her cowgirl attire today!  She was way excited to be getting dressed this morning.  However, she refused to unbutton the top button of her shirt.  She said it looked better that way.  I didn't pick that battle.  I did manage to make her pull her jeans out of her boots before she left the house, but I'm sure they went back inside the boots as soon as I was out of site.  That girl!!!  I'm afraid she will never win a fashion award.  Ever!!

But I will tell you who will win fashion awards, or at least try really really hard...
This girl!!!

Sadie was trying on dresses that were handed down to her because the Football banquet is coming up. We needed to see if any she had would work, or if we needed to go shopping. Molly insisted on trying on a pretty dress and she would not take it off!  She even had to have on earrings. She pranced and pranced around the rest of the night with that dress on, asking everybody if she looked pretty and looking in every window to see her reflection.

This is the definition of DIVA. She kills me!
