Sadie took Drama as an elective this year because she had already had choir, already had PE, already had art, couldn't take athletics because of cheer, and because there wasn't anything else. She wasn't interested in it at all. 

Turns out that she absolutely loved Drama!! It was her favorite class.  It was a small class. She was a teacher's pet. The class collectively wrote a short play. Then they performed it, informally, on a Sunday afternoon. 

Sadie is a star naturally and loves being in the spotlight. 

The scene was an accident scene where these people from all walks of life end up spending time together. Sadie was an aspiring super star, "Sadie Gaga" as she was pinned before and after the play. 

The lines were quite witty. The students did a good job on the plot and the acting. 

Sophie knew Sadie's lines and everyone else's because she helped Sadie study them. Molly cared not much about the whole thing. 

But Sadie got to smash a guitar, which she loved!! 

And...she sang and danced during her performance. 

Which shocked me that she would sing in public. She sings every day all the time and drives me crazy most days singing. But I didn't know she would sing IN FRONT of people, her peers, their parents. 

Needless to say. Sadie has signed up for Drama as her elective next year too. Look out Broadway!!!
