State cheer competition 2014. We got up super early to be in Hot Springs by 800. The little ones took a nap on the way. Sadie and Cameron chilled in the back back.

This was both Larry and Molly's first cheer competition. I'm not sure they knew what to expect. They both did fairly well waiting.

MeMe, Papa, and Spencer came again to cheer on Sadie and the Scrapper girls.

Sadie didn't seem as nervous this year compared to last.

These girls worked hard on this routine. The first part of the routine was solid! Even better than the previous competition at OBU.

Then the dreaded happened. Sadie's stunt group dropped a stunt. Sadie slipped right through the bases hands.

They popped right back up and kept going.

Sadie was a little upset when they came back out. She puts so much pressure on herself.

They ended up in 3rd place. Shiloh Christian took the state title. Pottsville took 2nd place.

I was still really proud of my Scrapper girls. I love watching them.

There is a sign on the cheer room door that I love. It reads, "Football players have the whole season to prove themselves. We have less than 3 minutes."

We all went out to eat after it was over. Sophie went home with MeMe. We started our journey home a little like we started. It's always a great day to be a Scrapper!
