At the end of church service, during the invitation, Sophie leaned over to me and said that she wanted to talk to Brother Kevin but she didn't want to go up front in front of everybody. So after church we went to Brother Kevin and Sophie told him that she wanted to be baptized because she wanted to go to Heaven.   This was July 5th.

I know that this was from her heart because she was so emotional about it. Brother Kevin stayed after church and talked to Sophie to make sure that she knew the decision she was making. He explained to her about being saved and getting baptized and asked her some questions.

She prayed and she cried and she prayed with Brother Kevin and said she was certain. He told her he would like for her to go up front during invitation next week and we would schedule a time for baptism.  This was July 12th.

She was scared to go up in front of everyone that's why we waited until after church to talk to him. But after we left the church, she was so excited and couldn't wait until the next week to go up front so he could announce it to the church.

We scheduled her baptism for the following Sunday and she counted the days!! This was July 19th.

We didn't know it at the time, but three other kids came forward that same Sunday accepting Jesus as their savior. Two of them were close to Sophie's age and the other was Sadie's age.

It felt so good to see her get baptized and her excitement about it all. She has really been learning and asking questions and reciting Bible verses and I am so proud to see her growing in her faith.

She always volunteers to say the closing prayer in her Sunday school class and she and Molly almost argue over who is going to bless the food at dinner.

I know that Sadie was really proud of and proud for Sophie too.  I think she has set a very good example for her little sisters.

I know that I am completely blessed much more than I deserve with these girls!! I can't imagine doing life without them.

There is not a more important decision than to follow Jesus.
