I promise we don't always eat out.... but when we do we always fight over who is going to sit by Momma.  I think it is more of the principal of winning the fight now than either of them even wanting to sit by me.

Nevertheless, I have started making them take turns.  And believe me...they remember who's turn it is.  After the fight is over, the other one is just a happy and content sitting on the other side of the table and the food tastes the same. Dad gets a little jealous because they aren't fighting over who gets to sit by him.

This little princess got a new dress!  She came home with this thing after she had been to MeMe's house.  She calls it her dancing dress.  I don't know what qualifies it as a dancing dress, probably the sequins, but whatever it is it works!!  She loves this thing!!

This little princess made the biggest decision of her life yesterday!  Sophie decided during church that she needed to talk to Brother Kevin after church.  She said that she wanted to be saved and she wanted to go to Heaven.  I am so proud of her!  She has been listening and learning and her knowledge amazes me for this age.  I believe that she knows this decision is huge and that she knows what it means and what she is doing.  It will be a couple of weeks and she will be baptized.  She is so excited she can hardly wait!!

And this my friends....this is creative playing at its finest.  This is old school - imagination - playing together with sisterly love -  right here.  They are playing Walmart.  They would take turns being the shopper and being the cashier.  Occasionally they would get a real customer (Mom or Dad) to come through and they would check you out together.

They had a shopping cart and many items to choose from to buy.  Then you would put your items on the counter (the pillows) and Molly would scan the items on her doodle draw.  She would then put items in a sack for you.  Sophie would write you out a receipt and scan your credit card on the Dora drawing book and you had to sign the transaction.   Pretty impressive how they set it all up.

This weekend was also the 4th of July.  We played around the house all day because it rained most of the day.  Luckily the rain stopped later in the afternoon.

The girls dressed up in the red, white, and blue!  Molly may have taken it a little too far!

I think they were both patriotic and adorable.....and divas!!

Love them!!!

We all went to the Stand Up for America at the park.  I had to work it, but Larry took the two girls and I checked in with them often.

This was Molly's first time to go.  I had a suspicion that she would enjoy it.  I underestimated her.  She loved it!!!  She was up dancing the whole time.

Sophie always enjoys it, but does not much dancing.

I got a little emotional at the end.  Standing there with my girls singing 'God Bless the USA' when the fireworks started going off.  It really hit me hard.

Micheal Hix and the Holla Band was the entertainment.  He puts on a good show.  Molly absolutely loved it!!!

We went home and did our own fireworks, which didn't compare at all to the ones at the park.  But the girls had fun with the sparklers.  I think next year that will be all I buy.

We missed Sadie.  She did July 4th Ohio style!!
